1976 Scammell Crusader F42
We are currently restoring a 1976 Scammell Crusader F42, owned by the Stan Williamson Family Trust. History First registered in New Zealand on the 5th of January 1976 by JV Geany of Rotorua, with 490km on the clock. The Crusader was sold to Direct Transport of Rotorua in September 1978, having done 182,287 miles. It was then purchased by Stan Williamson Transport of Te Puke in May 1980, becoming part of the largest fleet of Leyland Crusaders in the Southern hemisphere. Mostly carting logs throughout it’s life, it has also been in use as a Heavy Haulage transporter, and currently as a scrap steel and general products carrier.
